GOOD THOUGHTS BREED GOOD THOUGHTS
A PART OF THE "THROUGH THE DARK" COLLECTION
This painting is the second of three pieces in a collection inspired by difficult times and the drive and hope required to get Through the Dark. The figures' bright hair represents the fire and passion that keeps them moving forward even when the dark and the black seem all consuming - the flowers represent the hopes or the love or any small positive thing a person holds onto when all else feels lost to the dark - it is intended to illustrate a figure transitioning from an overwhelming, deep, and all encompassing black, to a place where she can acknowledge the dark without it taking over, or blinding her view of the better days head.
"Good Thoughts Breed Good Thoughts" is all about getting through dark days and coming out stronger and more appreciative of the good days.
