ONE HEART
The pandemic’s impact on my household was something like ink droplets spreading out into water. Somewhat mesmerizing at first until we were all lost in the murky dark.
My partner and I had a lot of work to do to clear things up and start seeing each other’s side of things again. It was a struggle at times, but I’m proud of the new relationship we have because of the work we put in when things weren’t good.
I created this piece to celebrate where we are now, and to honour the dark periods we’ve been through. It is a celebration of romantic love and relationships that have known struggles and become stronger from them.
